InvoiceCloud Joins the U2030 Collaborative to Help Payment-Challenged Utility Customers

Feb 28, 2023

The Utility 2030 Collaborative (U2030) is excited to welcome its newest member company, InvoiceCloud, to its family of utility professionals working together to find solutions to transformation challenges.

InvoiceCloud, a true SaaS payment solution that serves more than 2,000 utilities and is designed to turn one-time e-bill payers into fully engaged self-service customers, will serve as the Diamond Sponsor of the U2030-Think-a-Thon Solutioning Workshop. It will be held April 16-18, 2023, at BGE’s headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland.  InvoiceCloud team members will be joining the conversation throughout the event, sharing new insights on customer preferences and how InvoiceCloud’s frictionless customer experiences can help utilities keep revenue streams consistent while assisting payment-challenged customers.

All attendees of the U2030-Think-a-Thon Solutioning Workshop will learn Ideation techniques from the Design Thinking methodology to accurately “frame the problem.” Workshop attendees will compete in small teams to outline solutions to better identify customer needs, reach customers with the right solutions, and keep revenue streams consistent as rates rise.

“InvoiceCloud continuously reimagines how the billing and payment journey can be easier and more accessible for all utility customers,” said InvoiceCloud Vice President of Alliances and Business Development, Paul Applegate.  “With new data from 2,100 bill payers on preferred payment channels, major challenges, and customer preferences for 2023, we’re excited to help the teams participating in the U2030-Think-a-Thon Workshop come up with innovative solutions to today’s most pressing challenges.”

“The user experience with InvoiceCloud is night and day compared to our previous systems, and our staff has gained valuable time back in the day to focus on other operational tasks,” said Marci Westlake, Customer Service Manager at Truckee Meadows Water Authority. “Keeping customers happy is TMWA’s number one priority, and InvoiceCloud helps make that happen.”

Utility employees interested in learning more about the U2030-Think-a-Thon should visit U2030’s website at U2030 Creative-Think-a-Thon (utility2030.org). Event seats are limited and only a few remain. Utilities who sign up for the U2030 Annual SPARK Meeting at the same time receive deeply discounted bundled pricing. Co-located with the Digital + Cloud for Utilities Summit and focused on “Igniting & Sustaining Behavioral Change,” it will be held August 28-29, 2023, in Los Angeles.
